Friends,
Our mission to provide an excellent and affordable education to Richmond’s Catholic community continues to draw interest from the local media. Yesterday, Richmond BizSense profiled our efforts, with a particular focus on our strategy for maintaining affordability. (Click the image below to read the article.)

I appreciate the ability to talk with BizSense about our efforts and to continue spreading our vision to the Richmond community. I am also overwhelmed by the continued support from so many of you, and the hard work of our faculty and Board, that has brought us to the momentous occasion of our opening in just two weeks!

Three years ago, a group of Catholic parents felt there was a need for a coed and independent Catholic high school in Richmond. Cardinal Newman Academy is on track to open in fall of 2017. Attorney John O’Herron said the school’s Board of Directors was motivated by two things.

A feasibility study was commissioned and the response from more than 600 catholic families was encouraging.
