Mrs. Honeycutt is responsible for our English curriculum, including both teaching and tutoring. She is passionate about using quality classic literature to grow students' worldviews.

About Elaine Honeycutt

Mrs. Honeycutt joined us after many years teaching in both public and private schools. She grew up in Indiana, and came to Virginia to attend Sweet Briar College, where she studied Literature and Education.

Mrs. Honeycutt is passionate about teaching quality classic literature and using it to give students a greater world view, connecting their heritage to the present. She also has enthusiasm for taking students on field trips where they can have new experiences linked to lessons from the classroom. Mrs. Honeycutt loves teaching all the different grade levels, and forming strong bonds with students throughout their education.

Mrs. Honeycutt is a member at Church of the Epiphany with her husband and young son. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her family, traveling, and horseback riding."
