About Kate Lagarde
Kate grew up in Richmond, VA and has many long-standing connections in the community. She graduated summa cum laude from Christendom College in 2017 as class salutatorian, with a major in Philosophy and minor in Liturgical Music. Kate joined the Cardinal Newman team in 2018 after teaching for a year in a private Catholic school in Williamsburg. She enjoys the challenge of teaching several different subjects, and is passionate about making connections with students and helping them be successful. In her spare time, Kate enjoys reading, volunteering in her parish choir, cooking, boating, and spending time with family
